Marketing Work

Marketing for West London’s leading art centre. Worked on social media, brochures, photography, film, website copy, emails and more.

During my first three months working at Watermans I worked in various roles. I helped develop, organise and deliver a large scale live arts event (Winter Lights) in Bell Square, Hounslow. Working with studios including SameSky and Periplum.

When I took on my role as Marketing Assistant, I Managed the social media channels including Twitter (2,800 followers) and Facebook (2,000 likes) during the Shakespeare Reloaded campaign. I rebooted the inactive Instagram account and increased followers from 70 to over 700. Captured and posted over 90 photos.

Watermans provides free arts performances in Hounslow, at Bell Square. I filmed and edited videos for each of these events, including dance, theatre and circus acts and shared them on YouTube. Transcribed and provided closed captions for videos. I ran the Bell Square Twitter account, sharing images and video from events and advertising upcoming shows. Created the Bell Square Instagram account, providing all content.

I also created emails for subscribers advertising everything from films to children’s theatre, using MailChimp. I wrote copy including film summaries for print leaflets each month. Wrote the copy for the Urban Ambush 2016 brochure. Uploaded copy to the website and expanded upon it.
